Full Time, Part Time, Permanent

Salary: £29,977 FTE (40 hours)

Salary breakdown: £25,397 per year + £2,500 Market Rate Allowance + 1 Sleep-In / week (£2,080pa) + an additional enhancement for weekend shifts (paid at time and a quarter)

Salary will be pro-rated for Part Time

The salary will further go up to incorporate shift enhancements for weekends as part of a typical rota. The salary will also increase if you work over-time and more than 1 sleep in per week.

Essential Criteria

• An understanding /knowledge and skills relating to vulnerable people

• Care or support work experience preferable, but those with good, demonstrable values, welcome to apply.

• Must be willing to provide personal care to residents when required

• Would be expected to do sleep in shifts

The Role

• Provide safe, person centred care and support

• Support the residents with accessing the community to do things like dancing, swimming, going to the cinema/theatre, going out for meals etc.

• Promote independent living skills such as personal care, medication, shopping, cooking, keeping their home clean

• Help make a residents hopes and wishes a reality
