Support Worker Learning Disabilities – Registered Care Service
Full Time, Part Time, Permanent
Salary: £29,977 FTE (40 hours)
Salary breakdown: £25,397 per year + £2,500 Market Rate Allowance + 1 Sleep-In / week (£2,080pa) + an additional enhancement for weekend shifts (paid at time and a quarter)
Salary will be pro-rated for Part Time
The salary will further go up to incorporate shift enhancements for weekends as part of a typical rota. The salary will also increase if you work over-time and more than 1 sleep in per week.
Essential Criteria
An understanding /knowledge and skills relating to vulnerable people
Care or support work experience preferable, but those with good, demonstrable values, welcome to apply.
Must be willing to provide personal care to residents when required
Would be expected to do sleep in shifts

The Role
Provide safe, person centred care and support
Support the residents with accessing the community to do things like dancing, swimming, going to the cinema/theatre, going out for meals etc.
Promote independent living skills such as personal care, medication, shopping, cooking, keeping their home clean
Help make a residents hopes and wishes a reality
