Support Worker – Female Client (Autism & ADHD)
Location: Waterlooville
Salary: £13,198.50 (salary includes the £500 R&R allowance) (£26,397 FTE)

About the Role
We are looking for a patient, proactive and experienced Support Worker to join our Learning Disabilities Service in Waterlooville.
You will be supporting a lady with Autism, ADHD and the potential to display behaviours of distress. She benefits from consistent, calm and flexible staff who can help her feel safe and supported.
This role involves:
Providing person‑centred, respectful support in her home and in the community
Helping with day‑to‑day activities such as cooking, household tasks and planning routines
Offering support with personal care, including toileting
Assisting with finances, appointments and community access
Encouraging independence and confidence at a pace that suits her
Every day will be different, so the ability to adapt, stay calm under pressure and use a gentle, encouraging approach is essential.
This role includes sleep‑in shifts, evenings, alternate weekends, and bank holidays.
Essential Requirements:

Full flexibility around the needs of the client
Experience supporting people with Autism, ADHD, and behaviours of distress
A UK Driving Licence
Good communication skills (verbal, non‑verbal and written)
A proactive, patient and compassionate approach
