Location: Eastleigh & The New Forest

Salary: £43,469pa 

Permanent, Full Time

Essential Requirements:

  • Able to provide coaching, advice and support to managers and staff 

  • Able to work to and monitor quality standards across services 

  • Have a strong management background in the Social Care Sector

  • Knowledge of best practice around person centred planning and co-production

  • Knowledge of Safeguarding for adults and children

  • Have a breadth of experience working with vulnerable adults with a range of disabilities.

  • Can work flexibly to meet the needs of the people we work with

  • Possess a driving license and has access to a car with business insurance

  • Able to work weekend and bank holidays as required 

  • Be educated to degree level or have the equivalent vocational qualification or significant relevant experience.

The Role: 

  • We have exciting and rewarding opportunities to work alongside people with disabilities. The role of the District service manager is to effectively support and manage the management team to provide excellent, flexible support in line with YOU’s values at all times.

  • You will be responsible for leading Team Managers in the delivery of excellent person-centred support to vulnerable adults in the services across the locality.

  • You will have an excellent understanding of safeguarding, risk management, health and safety, recruitment, role modelling, anti-discriminatory practice, local knowledge and developing opportunities for people. You will be responsible for developing our co-production Working Together groups

  • You will lead on risk management and support the team managers to manage risk within the services and will be able to delegate tasks to the Managers appropriate with their role and level of responsibility.

  • You will be a CQC registered manager ensuring the services meet internal and external quality and performance standards. Building excellent relationships with external agencies, using these relationships to provide increased opportunities to the people we work with.
